Abul M’ Ali Muhammad Abdur Rauf Waheed (born 1828) was a poet, translator, and editor from Calcutta. His original name was Abdur Rauf, but he used the pen name Wahid. He studied at the Aliyah Madrasah in Calcutta and started his career in journalism by editing the Persian journal Sultanul Akhbar. Later, he edited Urdu publications like Durbeen and the Urdu Guide.

In 1855, he was appointed a government translator for the Supreme Court of Calcutta and became a translator in the Governor General’s Legislative Council in 1862. Wadud also taught Persian at Aliyah Madrasah for a couple of years. He was elected a Fellow of Calcutta University and served as Secretary of Anjuman-e-Islami in 1855, which was the first Muslim organization established in Calcutta and involved many notable leaders.

Among his literary contributions are works such as Taoyarikhe Bangala (a Persian summary of Marshman’s History of Bengal), Tarikhe KalkatteTaharirate WaheediSarafe WaheediNahbe WaheediShakhe MarjanDiwane Waheedi (1891), Rubaiyyate WaheediManshaate Waheedi, and Sukhane Maoyun.
