Emon Saha is a prominent Bangladeshi composer, musician, and singer known for his significant contributions to Bengali film music. Born on October 16 in Dhaka, he is the son of the celebrated musician Satya Saha. Emon Saha started his music training in Hindustani classical music and further honed his skills under notable teachers, including his father and at the KM Music Conservatory founded by A.R. Rahman.
He has earned seven Bangladesh National Film Awards for his music direction and composition in films such as Chandragrohon (2008), Kusum Kusum Prem (2011), Ghetuputra Komola (2012), Pita (2012), Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe (2016), and Jannat (2018). Beyond composing, Emon Saha also made his directorial debut with the film Silence: A Musical Journey in 2025.
His musical style spans techno, folk, pop, and film music, and he has been instrumental in shaping contemporary Bengali film music with his compositions.
